Family Circle

Family Circle

Family Circle pre-dated Legion by a few years, and was born from members of the Bishops, Purple Frail, and New Destination.

This picture, taken in Chris' basement shows Steve House (sax) knitting in a rocking chair in front of a plume of peacock feathers, Chris (trumpet) sitting at the manual pedal Singer sewing machine, Lois Church (Chris' mother) at 9 mo. old in the baby picture, Dick Parsley (organ) holding the broom, Rick Lamb (trombone) seated on the floor holding a model airplane, Terry Hacker (bass) sitting in a barber chair holding a 12-ga. shotgun and displaying his belly button, Thane Rogers (drums) looking over Steve's shoulder, and Steve Downey (Guitar, vocals) reading a Boy's Life magazine with his pant legs rolled up and bare feet soaking in a tub! Mad Magazine's Alfred E. Newman stencil on the mirror.
